To fulfill the Great Commission through evangelism and healthcare in rural, unreached Paraguay, working together with national believers to:
Show God’s compassion to those suffering in rural communities who have limited access to preventative or curative health care and health education.
Share the Word of God through evangelistic outreach activities, prayer and counseling with patients, biblical teaching and the model of our daily lives.
Shape Paraguayan believers into more mature disciples as they participate with us in this ministry, sharing their faith with their neighbors and leading others to do the same.
Sow a Christian worldview in the hearts of healthcare students and professionals so that they may follow in the footsteps of the Great Physician. (that means YOU!)
“Thank you for being an example of a family who has seriously considered what it means to combine ministry, discipleship and health care. What I have learned through you about missions is so important. My experience here has been so instrumental, as I think God may be preparing me for missions overseas somewhere.”

TIME is a unique chance to experience and learn more. You'll explore the meaning of a life committed to medical service and many of the possible different manifestations of that, and you'll face some of the challenges of a life committed to Jesus wherever He may call you! I highly recommend!!!

"Disclaimer: This trip is not for the weak of heart, mind or body. If you are looking for a nice glimpse into another culture - look again. You will be challenged to meditate on and transform your faith, worldview, and purpose in life. But it is so worth it...."

Living with a host family and living life in rural Paraguay alongside the McKissicks challenged me to reexamine who I am in Christ and my role in furthering His Kingdom. God used my time there in incredible ways. He spoke clearly into my li...fe through the McKissicks and SIM missionaries in PY. I am so grateful for the friendships I have from the trip and would highly encourage anyone to prayerfully consider serving in PY.

“You have truly inspired me as a missionary doctor. Seeing how you serve God has given me the reason to want to go towards med school. I don’t know what God has for me in the future, but this is what I know as of now- to combine teaching, preaching and healing together.”

....during my summer with you I thought a lot about what it would mean to be a missionary, mostly oversees. At the time, if you remember, I didn't feel that God was calling me to that life. After being back home and at school, God kind of showed me that I need to be a missionary whatever I am doing, and going overseas might be part of that. So currently I know that if I end up going to medical school I want to serve underprivileged people in some capacity. I don't know if that means living in a area of the US that is on need or living overseas, I just know that I couldn't be content living a comfortable life
